I have devoted my career to advocating for employee rights and fighting unfair treatment at work. Before joining Stutheit Kalin, I represented plaintiffs in employment discrimination cases in Oregon state and federal court. I also served as a clerk to the Honorable Marco A. Hernández at the United States District Court for the District of Oregon, where I worked on a range of civil and criminal matters, including employment law, civil rights, and contract disputes.
My professional background includes nearly a decade fighting for the rights of professionals, service workers, and union members. As a skilled and experienced advocate and organizer, I helped thousands of employees of multinational corporations, state and local governments, and public university systems negotiate better wages, benefits, and working conditions. I am fluent in Spanish.
I graduated with honors from Brown University and attended Lewis & Clark Law School, where I graduated magna cum laude.
Etc., etc., etc.
I served for five years on the board of the Oregon Gay & Lesbian Lawyers Association. I have also been a member of the Executive Committees of the Oregon State Bar Civil Rights Section and the Oregon State Bar Labor and Employment Section. I love gardening, backpacking, biking, and cheering for the Portland Thorns.
